ABOUT

The purpose of JAE School (Journalism, Arts, and Entertainment) is to shed light on the African American/Black Community at the University of Florida. Through photography, videography, and articles, JAE School aims to do the following: 

1. Highlight Black excellence and uplifting the African American/Black community. 

2.  Educate the campus on Black history and events in the local Gainesville areas and nationally. 

3. Lower stigma and biases against the African American/Black community at the UF.

This website was created for the enjoyment of the entire UF student body, alumni, prospective students, and those unaffiliated with the University, Shortly after our creation, this website has served at the catalyst in the revolution of the African American/Black Communities located at prestigious Predominately White Institutions (PWIs).
