BSU "Soul Circus" Homecoming Week 2015
Every year during the month of October, the Black Student Union holds a week of Homecoming events for the Black Community. This week features
On Monday night the BSU Lip Sync Competition took place at the Fine Arts Courtyard. The University Gospel Choir took home the first place trophy with their tribute to film "Sister Act" The Gator Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP ) came in close second with tribute to all to the great artist that have come from New York City.
Tuesday there will be a Car Wash taking place at Burger King across the street from the Oaks Mall on Newberry Road.
Followed by a comedy show on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Reitz Auditorium. The show will featuring a few surprise comedians.
Thursday come out to "Noir Deco," an art showcase co-sponsored by the Lambda Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This event will take place in the New Physics Building at 7pm.
You cannot have a BSU Homecoming without a Homecoming Court. Here is a list of the 2015 BSU Homecoming Court:

Voting takes place Wednesday, October 28th, Thursday, October 29th and Friday, October 30th. Voting will commence at 10 am on Turlington Plaza and will stop promptly at 2pm. (You will need a Gator 1 Card to vote)'
After voting come dance the night away and see the Homecoming Court get crowned during the Homecoming Ball. The ball will be taking place at the UF Hilton at 7pm. Be sure to dress to impress!
Lastly, BSU will be ending off their week with a Community Service event at Fred Cone Park starting at 4pm.
